A hearty group of volunteers spent 4 hours hauling wet gravel up the trail to the section with coarse rock that SMCHA installed last Fall. This gravel was raked and tamped-in to make the trail smoother and better finished. The park rangers had sawed up a fallen tree, so we also hauled the heavy logs back down to the road for removal. Ginger and Cheryl recruited, registered and kept us hydrated and energized with refreshments (sorry I failed to get their pictures).
