The general meeting September 2009 was a class in "How to Fit a Saddle". Chris Shaw from Shaws Saddlery talked to us about the four major steps to saddle fit. Jim Gilbraith, custom saddle maker and owner of Backroad Saddlery, showed us the many choices of saddle fittings and styles and the steps that go into the construction of a custom made saddle. We had an ice cream social afterwards.
