SMCHA sponsored a Sorting Clinic at the Mounted Patrol Grounds in Woodside 6/20/09. The clinic instructor was Rich Braun with the able assistance of Joan McLaren. Some of the horses had never been close to cattle before, so the morning session was an eye-opener. After lunch break, these same horses were working the cattle at a much quicker pace. Everyone involved seemed to be having a great time and the arena resounded with cheers for a job well done.
