SMCHA > Gene Ericksen and Ann Farris once again do an awesome job at feeding the campers! This year Gene forgot to wear his chef's hat while cooking; which happens to be a Top Hat!
SMCHA > The campers gather for appetizers before Saturday Night's feast of barbecued tri-tip, chicken, pork and beef ribs, and link cod! Needless to say, no one went away hungry.
SMCHA > On Saturday Night the camp enjoyed the musical entertainment of Lindalou and Michael Ryge!
SMCHA > Debbie Tucker buys some raffle tickets from Cheryl Basin and Sue Sheehan (The Chairpersons of the Jack Brook Horse Camp Committee). In the background you can see all the wonderful prizes!
SMCHA > On Friday Night a new venue was started; "Movies Under the Stars at Jack Brook Horse Camp"! Here the campers are watching Roy Rogers in "Springtime in the Sierras" (1947)! This was definitely a huge hit with everyone!
SMCHA > Many thanks go to Kathie Goddard, Noel Moody and Gary McGrath who were our Volunteer Horse Patrol for the weekend!
SMCHA > Cheryl Basin gets an opportunity to ride Al's 18.2 hand Percheron Mare "Mari-Anne"! How's the air up there Cheryl?
SMCHA > There is definitely a little size difference between Sarah Filice's Quarter Horse mare, Suzy (14.3 hands), and her husband's Percheron mare, Mari-Anne (18.2 hands -- ridden by Cheryl Basin)!!
SMCHA > Christine Raposo, Danielle Bushue and Lisa Freesh (three of our Junior members) head out on a trail ride together!
